My Crocheted Garden.

A few weeks ago when I bought this book, 100 Flowers To Crochet and Knit by Lesley Stanfield, I had no idea that these little flowers and butterflies were going to take over my life.

I am a sucker for craft books.
I love looking at pictures and reading tutorials for fresh ideas.
I buy them and borrow them, probably too often.
I collect inspiration.

But I have to admit that I don't always make from them.

But this book is different.
Even after I got it home I still wanted to make them all.

And I want to make them a few times each in different colour ways.

Admittedly I am working from the basic and intermediate designs section so far.
I have had a peek at some of the advanced designs but some of the terminology seems a bit beyond me at this stage.

So they have been multiplying.
A few have been sold, some swapped, some given.

There are some traveling around the big wide world out there on hats, hairbands, bracelets, brooches and beanies.

And whilst I have been on my flower making trip I have also found great tutorials by Attick24, The Handmade Dress and The Crochet Spot.

And there are many, many more still here awaiting their fate.
Who knows what will come of them?

These six I have a special plan for.
Hopefully I'll get a chance to try it out in the next few days.

Thanks so much for stopping by...

I do read every single comment you leave and appreciate it very much, but I should let you know that I can be a wee bit on the useless side when replying to comments, that's just me, everyday life sometimes gets in the way....so I'll apologise now, just in case.
