excellent idea - and lucky you finding that cotton in the op shop! I have recently been using that exact cotton to make basic washcloths - it's lovely on the face!

I wasted 2 very expensive bottles of dye a couple of weeks back becasue the plug for my laundry trough had a teeny hole in it!!
