Pincushion swap update!

The view from the kitchen window.

The view on the table in front of me.

To be completely honest I was expecting between 20 and 30 sign ups, so 108 is slightly overwhelming for a disorganised person like me.

I have written your names and details on little bits of paper and then made groups with the little bits of paper, kind of like a wedding table arrangement.

Bren said it is slower this way but I don't do spreadsheets and excel and stuff.

Thanks so much for all your comments and emails of support and encouragement. Thanks for the offers of help and presents too. Can anyone pick up my girls from school in an hour and make dinner for my family?

I am slowly getting there and should be finished emailing you your partner's details by tonight or tomorrow morning.

And then....let the swaps begin. XX

Maybe we should look at creating a general swap spreadsheet that anyone can use for future swaps!

  8. Well done Kate on getting so many people for your pincushion swap. I am so excited to make mine and my swappee is a lovely person (from what I have read so far). Can we post them off as soon as we finish our pincushion or do we need to wait for a certain date to post them off at the same time. I think I may have found my pattern to make!

  10. I got my email from you today and I knew that I was commenter 90 something for your swap. I was going to reply to you and say "Gee, you must be sending out about 100 emails today", and I was right! I decided not to bother you and let you get on with the job. Those ducks are surely a sign for you, its mother Kate out in front and us coming along behind with our pin cushions. Love it.

I do read every single comment you leave and appreciate it very much, but I should let you know that I can be a wee bit on the useless side when replying to comments, that's just me, everyday life sometimes gets in the way....so I'll apologise now, just in case.
