Grateful!

Today I am grateful for all of the above!

I'm grateful for my Farmer Boy, for my three gorgeous girls, for where we live and how we live, for what we do, for after dinner walks through the bush, for wild flowers, for warm evenings, for song, for love.

It doesn't get much better than this.

Its funny how sometimes all there is are the weeds and the falling over and the fighting, but then on other days everything clicks into place and it all just works. I'm not going to question why, I'm just so pleased that it sometimes it does.

What are you grateful for today?
More here.
Have a wonderful weekend.
And don't forget to check out the free postage in my shop.

See ya!

  2. You are so correct. If only we have the code for those perfect days. But then we won;t know what perfect is without the imperfect. Happy weekend! and your place sounds awesome.

  3. I think I am grateful for everything in my life good and bad because I try to make the best of it. It goes without saying of course, that I am grateful for my one and only daughter and siblings and families.

  5. What a fabulous photo. I understand what you say about sometimes seeing only the weeds. It's important to remember the beauty as well. Thanks for reminding us!

  6. This looks like a wonderful way to end the day.

I wanted to do something similar this week but everyone was just too tired [end of the year syndrome] but I'm going to insist that we all go for an after-dinner walk tonight!

  8. Beautiful photo, Kate. I would love to be strolling right alongside you all. Ever since starting 'Saturday Grateful' I've been struck by how happy we all fundamentally are. Sometimes we let the 'little things' take over, but when we stop to think about it - life is a whole lotta delicious. x

  10. I agree, if we didn't have rain, we wouldn't appreciate the sunshine and vice versa. Pain makes the pleasure sweeter! You do live the dream life for a lot of Aussies though, as I'm sure you're aware.

  16. Lovely post.
I love the flexibility of farm life.
We don't have much pretty bush to walk through :( but plenty of places to walk.
We went to one of the property dams the other night by car (too far for 4yrs to walk) and planted a willow tree.

  18. To be able to enjoy evening walks in the country is ideal, however I am grateful that even though we live in the inner city, we do however live so close to all the bush land along the Yarra with a short walk to the Collingwood Farm, that it's almost like the country.
